' (born 12 March 1982 in Rosenheim)[2] is a German footballer who plays for SSV Jahn Regensburg in the 3rd Liga.[3] His most remarkable effort was a second division 2–0 away win in 2006 with Eintracht Braunschweig against TSV 1860 München in which he scored both goals.[4]
He is the older brother of German international Bastian Schweinsteiger.[5] "Schweinsteiger II" gained tragic recognition when he was involved in a car accident that saw a 13-year old girl dead. Police investigation revealed that Schweinsteiger was blameless for the deadly accident.[6]
